D3 Monk Guide Review
Being very new to the MMO scene, I was introduced to Diablo 3 by a couple of my hardcore gaming friends. Due to the fact I’m a console gamer, finding the right strategies for me was the most important thing for me. Performing some research on guides, I stumbled across a website called Killer Guides. I’ve never heard of the website before, until today that is. Looking through their arsenal of games, they have games I used to play in the past like RIFT, SWTOR, WoW, Aion and FFXIV. I was encouraged to buy their Diablo 3 Monk Compendium which is the class I’m currently playing.
Buying the guide at $29.99 USD, I was immediately sent my login details. After that, I headed over to the members area and began my download. The guide was laid out into 8 or so chapters covering important topics: leveling strategies, crafting, equipment and gear, questing and so forth. Giving the questing section a try, I headed over and found some interesting facts in the guide. The questing section was divided into levels accordingly i.e. 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40,41-50, 51-60. The section delve into more details on quest objectives and which quests are skippable. The quests written down are quests which will give me the most experience points. This alone helped me greatly; instead of wasting my subscription time doing every single quest, the guide tells me which quests I should do along with the main storyline quests. This alone cuts my questing time by half.
My Diablo Monk is now equipped with the most effective skill rotation available. The guide goes into detail which skill builds and rotations are recommended for dungeons. Previously I used to have issues with dungeons as I was using my skills all over the place with planning any strategy. I was faced with painful cooldown periods. When I’m about to use the skill again, my Life was depleted.
Noting another section in the guide was its very detailed walkthrough. The guide literally gives a step by step walkthrough through the game providing tips, hints, and tricks. Needless to say, I was very pleased with the guide. Why? My Monk reached the level cap and I’m plowing through Act III, Hell. As a Diablo 3 soon-to-be-hardcore-gamer, I recommend the complete bundle exclusively from Killer Guides.
